Santa's done a runner to New Zealand!

Fed up with the materialism of Christmas, Santa runs away to New Zealand for a summer holiday. When two Kiwi kids figure out who he is, they have to find a way to get him back to the North Pole in time for Christmas.

Releasing on November 30th in cinemas nationwide, KIWI CHRISTMAS is an entertaining and heartwarming tale that is set to become a local movie classic and a firm favorite for New Zealanders of all ages.

The KIWI CHRISTMAS School Art Competition:
To celebrate the release of New Zealand’s first family festive season movie, KIWI CHRISTMAS, Madman Entertainment is running a nationwide School Art Competition.

The winning entrant will win a free private screening of the movie for their class while runners-up in each age category will receive KIWI CHRISTMAS prize packs including in-season movie passes.

To enter, children aged 12 and under simply need to draw a picture that depicts their favourite thing about the summer holidays in New Zealand. It might be sun, sea, camping, Christmas, hanging out at the local pool or spending time with family and friends.

The top 5 entries will be posted on the Kiwi Christmas Facebook page and the entry with the most ‘Likes’ after 5 days will win a Kiwi Christmas prize pack PLUS an exclusive movie screening for their school class! Three winners in each age category will also each receive a Kiwi Christmas prize pack, including in-season movie passes.

Terms & Conditions

Entry:

  • Competition is open to children ages 12 and under who are resident in New Zealand
  • Photograph (or scan) your entry and email to <insert email address – whatever you choose above> or post to: Kiwi Christmas competition

  • Be sure to include child’s name, age and school, plus a contact (parent/guardian/teacher’s) e-mail address so that winners may be notified
  • Entries must be submitted by close of business on Friday 24 November 2017

Age Categories:

  • Age 6 and under
  • Ages 7-9
  • Ages 10-12

Voting:

  • All submissions will be judged by Madman Entertainment New Zealand staff. The judges’ decision will be final.
  • The three top entries from each age category will be posted to the Kiwi Christmas Facebook page on Monday 27th November.
  • Online voting for the top entries will be open from 10am on Monday 27th November – 12noon Friday 1st December 2017.
  • Decisions are at the discretion of Madman New Zealand and are subject to change at any time. We reserve the right to award multiple winners and prizes, or no winners and prizes. Prizes will be limited to one per person.

Winners: 

  • Prize winners must be New Zealand residents
  • There will be one overall winner plus one runner-up in each age-group category. The overall winner will receive a Kiwi Christmas prize pack PLUS a screening of the film at a local cinema for their class (screening capacity will be determined by the size of cinema). Category winners will each receive Kiwi Christmas merchandise plus an in-season family pass.
  • Winners will be notified on Friday December 1st by 5pm.
  • Winners will be notified by email to the parent/guardian or teacher included with the entry.
